The series 860 proportional valve combines 9 valves in a compact base body with a centralised air supply
The series 860 proportional valve combines 9 valves and offers independent switching and PCM control for 64/256 flow values – all in a compact package
The series 860 proportional valve combines 9 valves in a compact base body with a centralised air supply. All valves can be switched independently of each other and are combined into one output. PCM control (pulse code modulation) allows 64 or 256 different flow values to be achieved in 6-bit/8-bit binary code mode. In combination with PCM and PFM (pulse frequency modulation) control, a linear flow can also be realised over the entire range.
The switching time for opening and closing is less than one millisecond. As a result, it is possible to access all 64 or 256 flow values – or to switch from one value to the other – within the space of one millisecond. The service life of >500 million switching cycles per valve also allows constant switching of the valves to a consistently high standard of quality. Static dosing ensures 100% reproducibility.
This means that 256 different flow values – each one clearly defined and fully reproducible – can be achieved (PCM technology).
An electronic control card is available as an accessory. This offers inputs for digital 6-bit and 8-bit signals as well as voltage signals ranging from 0 – 10 V, which are subsequently converted into binary codes.
